It makes me surprised that kde 4.4 desktop could be compared with other commercial desktop such as Windows.. but all development is usually done by some developers
and it could be downloaded for free. They say that kde means freedom. I am usually
open source supporter and long term kde user. But in recent when kde 4 first appeared in the market , it makes me disappointed. I switched back to gnome [ developers of gnome have no sense of the teste of a desktop user and torvalds once said that they thought that free software users are dull ]. but when lucid lynx is launched i thought give kde 4.4 a try. And now i find almost everything here what a modern desktop user want from the core of their heart. So my next series of blog i am trying to explore all recent technical and standard features added in KDE. Finally i like to "long live KDE " for those who switched to gnome being disappointed i want to say "it is now safe to come back" !
